Studio manager and teaching artist Holly Coley has taken over ownership of Pinckney Clay
From Studio Manager to Small Business Owner
Over 3 years ago, Holly joined Pinckney Clay as a teacher and has helped build the business ever since. When Pinckney made the decision to move to the east coast, she offered the business to Holly and helped her obtain a loan for its purchase. Pinckney told Holly that she "didn't know of a better person to take over the business." While Pinckney and Peppercorn will be dearly missed, we are excited to be able to keep the studio alive.
Holly comes from a teaching artist background and has taught art to children and adults in SF public schools, and at SFCC. She was the head of the ceramics department at The Crucible in West Oakland for two years, where she taught American Raku and hand building.

Take an online workshop!
Our online workshops are designed to bring people together.
Students are asked to introduce themselves and talk about their lives as part of each workshop. We want people to find connection during this difficult time.
