Next Steps Wheel | Wednesday evenings | Oct 18th | 6-9pm Open studio Thursday-Sun 12-5pm This class is for anyone who is interested in the next steps of upping their pottery practice. If you have taken an intro wheel and are looking for your next class, this is it! Enjoy open studio hours every Thursday- Sunday 12-5pm for the first 5 weeks. Our class size is 8 people. In this 6 week class you will learn how to: Wk 1 - Techniques for throwing larger (coning), larger cylinders, collaring, shaping cylinders Wk 2 - Plates, setting up bats on the wheel, trimming vases (setting up chucks/ attaching pieces to the wheel just using water) Wk 3 - Test Tiles &/or bowls (low wide bowls vs taller bowls & how to approach making them), plate trimming & handling will either be this week or next depending on how slow its drying Wk 4 - jars, throwing forms with a gallery, you call it/unique forms (donut vase, juicer, etc) Last day for wet clay. Wk 5 - adding a knob to your lid on the wheel, finishing test tiles (if we go that direction), handles (pulled and thrown), final trimming. Wk 6 - Glaze day Please provide proof of vaccination on the first day of class. By enrolling in this class you agree to our cancellation policy. We require 3 weeks notice for class cancelation for refund/credit. No refunds or credits can be issued once the class has started.

Cancellation Policy

Try-It Classes: Due to limited seating, you must cancel at least 72 hours before a scheduled class. You may only cancel by email, as it is the best way to ensure we are reached. We do not accept cancelations via our voicemail. If you cancel 72+ hours prior to your class you will receive a refund. If you do not cancel prior to the 72 hours, you will lose the payment for the class. The owner has the only right to be flexible here. 6-Week Sessions: You can cancel up to 3 weeks prior to your class start date and receive a full refund, but no transfers are allowed. If you cancel your class after the 3 week timeframe we do not issue refunds or transfers. All classes: Due to the impact of Covid-19 on our business, we cannot provide any refunds or credits if you can no longer attend a 6 week class that has already started. Thank you for your support.
